is vicious enchant worth it?
is there anyway to negate the damage taken back as a cleric, besides obviously healing the damage back?

didn't think so with the damage received back.

Whether it is worth it or not is dependant upon the 'user' of it ( cleric is better off casting spells while melee-rs can use the posi-negi energy strike thinger ).

As for 'negating' the damage, not directly. Fast Healing, vigor, etc.

I'm a DMM presist melee oriented cleric. I was just seeing if there was a way through DR to negate the damage.

If there was ( dunno if there is ), it would be probably be more valuable than DR / -.

You could always do fun stuff like be undead and use a vicious merciful weapon for an extra 3d6 base.

The vampiric enchantment (in MIC, I believe) is +2 and does 1d6 and heals you for 1d6, so that should counter the damage.

Wrathful Healing (+3 enhancement, Enemies & Allies p. 20) is better: do X damage, heal X/2 in HPs for yourself. Add Vicious and/or Vampiric to that, and you should still come out ahead.
