One of my D&D group wants to run a Greek inspired campaign. We have a homebrewed astrological sign chart and random personality trait chart that effect our characters scores. With my rolls, I have been asked to play the priestess of Aphrodite. I'm looking for a picture of a very attractive black woman in appropriate garb for this setting to represent Ambrosia, my new character. I'm using the image below as a placeholder and it's fantastic, but wondered if there was anything out there that better fit a fantasy setting. Eyes that are open would be a plus too. Aasimar are supposed to have a trait that reveals their extraplanar origin, but it is usually much more subtle than tieflings. An odd skin tone, eye color, hair color...in practice most of the Aasimar art looks like very pretty humans. Wings are an option with the right feats.

I have a few pretty specific requests, but if anyone has anything close to them that would be awesome

Probably the hardest one is a paladin with a greatsword, eyepatch, and glove. He is also a dragonborn (red), but he has mostly human physical traits. I'd prefer the eyepatch to be a more unique design than the classic pirate, something like Kyoraku's from Bleach

Also, a half-orc barbarian who wields a large greataxe and prefers to keep his face covered with the appearance of a wanderer

An archer ranger, no specifics (maybe with a rapier for flavor)

A drow sorceress, again no specifics

A transmutation wizard with an automatonic arm (he transmuted his real one off lol)

Find an Artist you like the style of and see if they will accept a Commission request, quite a lot on DA do but are often swamped with a backlog of jobs.

Also if you can provide search words or a fitting setting that provides me with pictures like that I'm welcoming it. Weirdly enough most post apocalyptic pictures depict guys well over 30 where teens/tweens should be much more common.

I'm building a gender-fluid sorcerer, and I would quite like to have a character portrait. As such, I am looking for an androgynous (more feminine than masculine) human, elf, or half-elf with a magical look to them. My mental image of the character says they'd be light-haired, but I am open to alternatives.

Speaking of genderfluid, my request is rather similar to Angel Bob's. Would be great if (s)he wore blue though.

Another problem: The rather obvious Asian flavor, especially the clothing decorations. Might be hard to find andros outside anime, which tends to give said asian flavor?

Either, I want the images to present to my players to get them into the mood of the game, and to help establish that most tieflings in the game don't have huge honking horns. Heck, an Aasimar would help as well if there's a very human like one. I was thinking of letting them 'hire' a cohort if desire/plot demands, but I think I'll let the cohort's gender depend on what images I have/get.

How do people look for specific stuff for requests on this thread? Searching for keywords doesn't help much, because art usually isn't annoated (spelling) with 'androgynous', 'blue robes', 'rich' and such.

When looking for a specific image, I generally look through the stuff I've already saved and hope I have something, or go through lists of characters with the desired traits and see if there's decent fanart of them. How do people look for specific stuff for requests on this thread? Searching for keywords doesn't help much, because art usually isn't annoated (spelling) with 'androgynous', 'blue robes', 'rich' and such.

First I check my personal library of 1.4 gigabytes. When I find a good one, I use Google Images to locate one online for sharing...and lookie there google pops up a bunch it thinks is similar. Next I use search terms in google images, remember it checks the whole page for those terms. Even if the image is not tagged with "androgynous" you may get a hit off a comment about the picture elsewhere on the webpage. I can usually fine tune my results a bit after I see what google brings back the first time. Finally I repeat the search process on deviantart.

Really though, most of what I post comes right off my hard drive. Since I am always adding to my collection I rarely get stumped. I must admit that "steampunk tiefling" is proving difficult though.

I'd like to make a request for good steampunk pictures. One thing I am having troubles with is...Probably unsurprisingly, a tiefling. More specifically, a less endowed tiefling with horns that could be more easily hidden under a hat while still being steampunk/Victorian era.

They matter! Heck, you should bring weapons to international events. They're practically begging for epic fights.

Though weapons might be banned. In that case, hide your weapons (e.g. secretly magic/metal fans), or learn how to magic or otherwise fight with your bare hands.

I think I covered that part with an optimized bodyguard who is capable of one-shotting dragons with his bare hands. Though I am still afraid of my party wizard to do something stupid.

Male, doesn't really matter, blade-and-shield, scale armor, it just can't look weird and it has to look pretty damn badass, literally having gone to hell and back, historical/anatomical correctness creates some interesting discussions but I'm more interested in how cinematic is the shot.

Scale armor is gonna be hard. In most cases, its just used like maille on late 13th century stuff, filling the gaps between larger plates or dangling over the thighs.

Okay, something a little out of the ordinary, I'm lookin' for characters in western garb (cowboy boots, cowboy hats, etc. John Wayne type stuff) but wielding typical fantasy weapons (swords, axes, crossbows, etc.). Some nice anachronistic juxtaposition.

I've always wondered what class she's meant to be. It's hard to tell since she isn't wearing a weapon belt and many NPC's wear less armor than they're proficient with so she doesn't necessarily have to be a light-armor only class.

There's really no way to be sure. She could well be a fighter with a preference for mobility, an aristocrat wearing it for both appearance AND protection, an elegant, conservative rogue, or even a caster with some spell failure negation. The lack of obvious holy symbols suggests she's probably not supposed to be a cleric though, and obviously the armor is metal so she's likely not a druid.

If you're still talking about Elven Chainmail lady, she is obviously still getting dressed so any weapons or spellcasting implements are probably off screen yet. So theoretically she could use any sort of offensive abilities.

Ooohh, I really like that elf. It would be perfect for an elf with the Lightbringer trait for a Paladin or Cleric I have been considering. Sighs, though yes I understand that the race's stats doesn't lend itself well to such classes.

Request: A male, bearded human(ish) who could go for being a druid and a nobleman, ideally at the same time. Preference to fellows not yet reaching the greying stage; red or brown beard; and a body shape that looks strong and healthy - even something on the pudgy side would be good. But not thin or weak looking.

Looking for an image for a Shadowrun game. Orc tank, Not very heavily cybered. Cybereyes and bone lacing, but probably no chrome legs or hands. He'd be focused on melee and automatic weapons, and wouldn't wear too much armor.

Looks female to me. The hips and thighs are feminine, and the chest looks rather like boobies.
