If metal gets heated to the point where it can burn you and is in continual contact with your skin, you will get burned significantly worse than if you were burned by contact with fire. My understanding of the physics is flimsy, but it involves the fact that its surface to surface contact

I have some requests for the antagonistic party in a game of mine. Any of them are fine, although it might be a bit odd if they are in drastically different art styles. Going somewhat light on the details to leave my options open; and although I do have pictures from HeroMachine I'm not especially happy with them.

Depends on the specifics of halflings in your world, but generally you'll have to carefully select. Bare feet, hairy feet, big feet. Large noses (though thats usually more pointing at gnomes), big heads, chops. Some chubbiness. Curly hair, often pointed ears. Of course you can find pictures with these traits that the artist intended to portrait humans (or elves for that matter), but enough of them to have your viewers identify it as a halfling is going to be rare.

Yup, that's not weird. Attraction to feminine hips is actually ingrained in human evolution as having children is easier for them. Also it really supports the natural theme the picture is giving .

Nah. D&D 3.5 weapons are specifically tailored to a certain creature size category. That one is a twohanded weapon and made for small creatures (two different, independent qualities) - if you're a gnome, it works just like a human using a regular halberd (its a pollaxe, but bear with me here), except it deals 1d8 instead of 1d10.
A human using the weapon on the picture would deal the same 1d8 AND suffer -2 to attack rolls because the shaft has a 1 cm diameter instead of the 2.5-3 cm you'd see on a regular sized polearm. By RAW, handedness doesn't change at all either way.

Maybe she makes a nice picture of a succubus, since she's seductive but when you look at her a bit longer, you realise something is off without being to put a finger on it? What am I babbling about?

At least her breasts are small and separate, not H-size cups and squished together for maximal cleavage.
