Life Sense and Hide From Undead

How does the feat Life Sense interact with someone who is under the effect of the Hide From Undead spell?

As written, the undead would see the light that creatures emanate through its lifesense, but it would not see the warded creature at all. That would allow the undead to pinpoint the location of a warded creature, but the creature would still be invisible to the undead, gaining all the benefits from total concealment.

That's what I thought. I wanted to be sure I was not screwing my players when this comes up.

I would disagree. The spell says that undead can't detect the creature using any sense. Detecting the "light" emitted by a creature is detecting the creature.

That said, I think all of the undead with Lifesense are sentient, and so would be allowed a save, and undead have good Will progression, so they're very likely to pass the save and ignore it.
