So I'm designing a character for an upcoming Pathfinder game and looking to pump Sense Motive for all it's worth, but within certain limitations.

The character is a Human Druid with the Feral Child (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/races/core-races/human/feral-child-druid-human) Archetype from the Advanced Race Guide and using the Eye for Talent (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/races/core-races/human#TOC-Alternate-Racial-Traits) alternative racial feature. These features are not mutable; the primary focus of the character relies on these and the Sense Motive optimization is secondary to them.

With that in mind and a character level of 5, this is what I've got so far:

Lvl.1 Feat: Additional Traits [Note: Human Bonus Feat replaced by Eye for Talent]
Lvl.3 Feat: Skill Focus
Lvl.5 Feat: Snake Style (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/snake-style-combat-style)

This gives me:
5 Ranks Sense Motive
+5 Wisdom modifier
+3 Class Skill (made so by Additional Traits feat)
+2 Racial (Eye for Talent)
+1 Trait
+3 Skill Focus
+2 Snake Style

For a total modifier of +21. Can anyone do better or suggest either ways to improve it further at higher levels or alternative uses than those in the Core rules for the Sense Motive skill?

Cheers

If you're using Snake Style in combat it may be worth a feat to spend on Alertness. Custom enchants (+5) on wondrous items cost 2500 GP (although it has to be the "correct slot" so you may have to haggle with your DM or it gets more expensive. Get UMD for scrolls and crossclass magic to buff your Sense Motive.
