Items that grant INT check bonuses

My protagonist is attempting an INT check to remember the details of a non-magical book he read a long time ago. What magic items and / or spells exist that would help with such a check?

The Rules:

- No Epic at all
- No metamagic
- No custom items / custom spells / homebrew
- No psionics
- No character-build specifics (classes, level, etc)

I'm really just looking for items and spells.

Thing is, without psi there isn't autohypnosis, the main skill for remembering. But check eh:
