My group just started on May 24th with this AP, and thus far are absolutely in love with it. I have created a blog dedicated to trying to fantasize or journal their adventure.

I gained two new players, and we set them up yesterday, we went through a minor RP session and got them somewhat up to speed.

Hopefully their own adventure will cross with the main group.

I've done some research on this module and I"d love to play it myself. But to find a GM willing is impossible.

Stick to the rules it gives you, it seems restrictive, but it does make a difference.

Buy the 7th book in addition to the first one. The maps (that yes should have just been given in the 1st one) are brilliant.

If you have a party bigger than four, level at slow progression or they will roll over your encounters. I started with seven players not including npcs. Making them level up slower makes them really have to work together, respect their resources, learn to delegate, and over all it makes them really feel like the WORLD is against them, (because it is).

Really read over each adventure path in great detail, the smoother you can make it go the better, because there are so many little things that the adventure accounts for.

Otherwise, I think the adventure path does a pretty good job.

I only managed to get the first book via 4shared as I can't buy it directly from Firemountain games.

I keep wanting to play it as a solo game or something or use the progression for just a bit of storywriting or something.

Can you buy directly from like paizo, rpgdrivethru, and I think even amazon might have it? With the number of possible minons you can get, solo play probably wouldn't be hard to do. You by chance in the Omaha Nebraska Metro area, there are many game stores here that you could start a session in.

This entry, while not extremely long or even really important really showed the first sign of how this team has started to work together. Plus since I got to play Mama, it was really funny playing an old woman and acting all sweet, thankful, and forgiving to have her end up the way she did.

Just a heads up, i won't be updating this until we finish the rest of book 1. They left this last session (we played on the 22nd) with just a little bit left and I think I will end breaking balentyne with 2 parts only.
