Does anyone know of an "air" flavoured prestige class for a favored soul? My player doesnt like the Stormlord
(as its more electricity based).

We're playing 3.5 btw

Thanks

Wind Walker from faiths and pantheons can be okay for Favored Souls. Full BA, full casting, constant Feather Fall and Air Walk, and another ability that's easy to forget.

Skypledged from Races of the Wild is also pretty cool - it's like Mage of the Arcane Order, but its spell pool pulls from the Druid and Cleric lists, and it also gets some wind-y powers to alter the winds and to perform some minor tricks like summoning or transforming into air elementals.

In both those classes, the wind powers are kind of an afterthought to the classes' real strengths (10/10 BA/Casting and Divine MotAO, respectively), but they're good classes and aren't as electricity-focused as Stormlord or Stormcaster.

A Dragon Magazine had four Air-based prestige classes, each combining monk with another archetype- sneak attacking, arcane casting, divine casting, and something else... maybe the divine casting one would interest you. I can't remember which issue it was though.

Edit: Issue 314... unfortunately it also requires Turn Undead, which favored souls don't get.
