Endless Air sounds like a Bottle of Air (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/wondrousItems.htm#bootsWinged)

Endless Fire sounds like a use activated Aganazzar's Scorcher

A decanter of endless fire would be completely different from a decanter of endless water, because fire is a D&D energy type while water is not. A decanter of endless energy is way more powerful than a super canteen.

Id say just add the 1750g to the cost of a Bottle of air and let it have the same functions as the decanter. Although the Decanter of Air is actually way more useful then the decanter of water, because the air one is necessary for terraforming

Actually, putting the Bottle of Air in a vacuum causes air to escape due to the pressure difference.

RAW, no it doesnt. The bottle of air only releases air when inhaled from.

You can then exhale every breath outside the Bottle. In an air-tight space you'll build up the pressure over time. That's assuming you don't die first from low pressure effects. Of course, those get rather spotty treatment in D&D.

You can exhale, the problem with claiming the bottle of air already is functionally the same is that the bottle of air only contains an infinite self contained atmosphere, but by RAW it doesnt eject air like how the decanter ejects water
