Firearms in Faerun (which books?)

Which if any of the faerun books gives info on the firearms found in the setting, other than simply referring the reader back to the DMG?

go hunt about references about Smoke Powder from Lantan ... it is the only way to go at it within the books, although where to exactly look for the best bits, I can't remember ... would suggest asking on a faerun specific forum such as candlekeep
