Would it be possible to make a half decent mystic theurge/divine prankster by utilizing favorite soul and the jester class?

Using any variants and progressions what feats and abilities would need to be implemented to make a good character using these two base classes and prestige classes? I'd really appreciate some help.

It really depends on the optimization level you're going for, but in general classes with delayed spellcasting such as Favored Soul and especially one with a Bard progression don't make strong theurge characters.

Jester is very similar to Bard, there's the Divine Bard (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/variantCharacterClasses.htm#bardVariantDivineBard) variant from UA, you could possibly use that and just go Jester into Divine Prankster and skip theurge altogether.
