Outrider
Requirements:
Base Attack: +5
Feats: Animal Affinity, Mounted Archery, Mounted Combat, Track
Skills: Handle Animal 6 ranks, Ride 8 ranks, Survival 4 ranks
Proficiency with the shortbow/composite shortbow
HD: d8 Base Attack Bonus: +1 Favored Saving Throws: Fortitude

Stealthy Mount: Mount uses Outrider’s ranks in Move Silently, if applicable
Defensive Riding: In any round in which the Outrider is mounted but does not attack, Outrider gains +2 on Reflex saves and +4 dodge bonus to AC; Mount gains +20’ Spd, +2 on Will saves, and +4 dodge bonus to AC.
Burst of Speed: the Outrider can urge his mount to move quadruple its Speed on a charge, instead of the usual twice Speed on a charge; can be used 1/day safely; additional times/day require the mount to make a DC: 20 Will save after the charge or take 2d6 damage; this damage is cumulative (2d6 with a failed save after the second Burst of Speed, 4d6 with a failed save after the third Burst of Speed, etc.)
Mounted Accuracy 1: the Outrider takes no penalties when firing a shortbow from horseback
Long Riding: When traveling overland, the Outrider’s Mount moves at 150% its normal overland speed. This does not affect the Mount’s tactical speed in combat.
Mounted Accuracy 2: the Outrider gets a +2 competence bonus when firing a shortbow from horseback
Unbroken Charge: the Outrider can make a charge attack through difficult terrain or allies with a DC: 20 Ride check
Born in the Saddle: 1/day: the mounted Outrider can make a Ride check (using total Ride modifier) in place of any one attack roll, saving throw, or skill check.
Mounted Accuracy 3: the Outrider now gets a +4 competence bonus when firing a shortbow from horseback
Quick Turn: with a DC: 25 Ride check the Outrider can change direction up to 90 degrees while mount is running or charging (though the mount must move at least 10’ in a straight line after the turn); if Ride check fails, mount moves 10’ in a straight line after the point at which the turn was to take place, then loses its remaining actions
