Is this guy chaotic neutral ? I am trying to make a Society legal barbarian druid build fittng either a chaotic neutral or true neutral build. Basically my plan is to make a buffing specialist druid with some barbarian levels thrown in for combat bonuses . He will start at lv1 .
For those who play Magic cards ,his basic "moral viewpoint" is nearly identical to the Gruul clans of Ravnica and is built to be a cross between Kamahl the Pitfighter and Kamahl the Druid . He has high strength and uses his spells primarily to boost his warrior abilities ,such as shelighlegh and obscuring mists then rage/charge with his 2d6 quarterstaff or greatsword .
Imagine him as a hulking ,mad looking berserker with a mohawk and face paint ,standing 6.5 tall and a row of humanoid skulls dangling from his belt . As a druid , he does not believe in arbitrary cruelty or abuse of the weak but rather sees himself as a force of nature like a hurricane or a swarm of locusts which destroy a "corrupt " society . While his killing might seem random and insane , he always has a reason for it , such as the near by town is polluting the river ,killing off all the fish or a logging company is deforesting an old wood forest and disrespecting nature ,he does not hate all random little villages which live along side of nature but loathes attempts to bind or manipulate nature more then necessary . He is a sort of wanderer ,spreading his seed and partying when he is not avenging nature ( which ,in reality is just an excuse to "crack some skulls and have a hell of a time " ) but he holds some taboos that all druids would have , such as not wasting food ( he eats what he kills and kills what he eats and that includes his enemies ,he believes that all meat is food for some animal ) ,does not see humans as anything "more important " then a lion or a wolf , owns only what he can use ( hes got some VERY basic equipment and a few coins at first ) , and basically leaves little trace on the ecosystem other them irritating "threats" to the balance .Other then all this , he is a roaring drunk and is GENERALLY quite jovial and merry , and seems to care about "his pack" . I might just make him true neutral because he acts no different then a bear or a wolf (ethically) but just so happens to be human .

Now that you know a little about his background , I was going to make him a druid (whatever sort of subclass benefits battle buffs the best) and a barbarian -drunken brute . In reality I would consider myself true neutral with a touch of chaotic neutral . Im trying to make this character "push the boundary" of chaotic neutral /chaotic evil and sort of keep people guessing what he might do without being too much of a munchkin player who "abuses the definition of chaotic neutral and really plays a CE character " . In other words ,i want to make him as "feral" as humanly possible while still fitting the basic druid class requirement .
What worries me about him is that ,since hes totally wild and crazy in most peoples eyes , would his wisdom take a hit or his intelligence ? I want to make him focus on buffing and stuff ,but I defend his moderate wisdom in that ,in a way , he sees that the "fires of war" cleanse the earth and allow for life to prosper . Another thing about him and I dont know if it crosses him over ,but he enjoys the company of creatures who benefit from the carrion of battle and sees death and prey as merely a link in the circle of life . Other then embracing a death in glorious battle ,he cares little for his own life as long as his death was "epic and exciting" and he was able to indulge as much as possible on all of lifes pleasures .

A little more about him "

Stats : str 16 ,dex, 14, con 14, int 8 (6), wisdom 15 ,charisma 10 (8)

His feats will focus on powering up attacks ,especially running off alone with as many party buffs as possible ,acting like a classic "red manna " buffed hasting double-strike Ball Lightning . Ive settled on weapon focus quarterstaff and 2 weapon fighting for lv 1 feats and that feat that allows you to intimidate enemies within 30 ft as a standard action (devastating show ? ) and this one feat that allows a warrior to be powered up so long as there are no allies within 10 ft ( Desperate warrior I think) for later levels .
I figure that if there is a cleric in the party who is willing to buff him up with protection from alignment spells and he buffs himself even at low levels with obscuring mists and shillelaghs ,guidance and rage , he will be able to have layers upon layers of buffs and be able to clear out most enemies and be an extremely reliable tank along side of the party fighter(s) without hording too much of the action . He doesn't really care about "attention" he just wants to be as powerful as possible so he can have as much fun as possible in battle.

What do I need to tweak to take him OUT of chaotic evil if he fell into it ? I defend the cannibalism due to he believes that eating an enemy is the best way to respect their memory and most meat eating animals will devour fresh meat when it so nakedly stands before it . My justification for his CN is that he holds some values (such as preserving life in general and sees life and death as allies for the same goal . )

Also , I wanted to ask , is Riddick chaotic neutral or chaotic evil ? I see him as another one of those "heroic sociopaths" who walk a thin line between CN and CE. Is it really possible to make a "chaotic evil hero" or one with a tormented enough past and occasional acts of kindness or would that make the character climb into chaotic neutral . I love anti hero characters who are debatable whether they are "evil with a touch of goodness" or are merely "cold chaotic neutral characters who occasionally fall into good deeds "
