orangutan race

The librarian from terry prachetts discworld is my favourite character so I was wondering if there was any way a orangutan could be used as a PC race.
Would I need to make a custom race or is there a orangutan race out there?

Well, there is a monkey like race in Stormwrack called the Hadozee. You could refluf them as being Orange I guess

Savage species features antropomorphic creatures on page 215, including ape, baboon, and monkey. It's not exactly playing an orangutan, but it's reasonably close.

Apes have a +8 racial bonus on Climb checks and can always choose to take 10 on Climb checks, even if rushed or threatened.
Add feats and skills to taste.

I'm sure that there are other ways to do such, but yeah. I have no clue what ECL it would have (technically LA-, but yeah).

Why do you wonder? Also, if you are a player you could just play as a Hadozee from Stormwrack. They're pretty Orangutang-like.
