The half-golem template from MMII p209 allows you to swap limbs on certain creatures with golem limbs of your choice. The creature gains qualities of the golem of choice as well as bonuses to abilities and such. As limbs are added, the creature must make will saves to basically keep their type, alignment, etc. and the saves increase with each limb added up to a DC: 55 with the sixth limb. What happens if fewer limbs are attached? The book makes reference to the creature's strength being unaffected by the number of limbs (strength is one of the abilities boosted by the template) but it doesn't specify changes to any of the other special qualities if fewer limbs are added. Does the creature gain everything? Nothing?
