Hullo. Can I cast Holy Sword (http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Holy_Sword) on a conjured Sun Scepter (http://dndtools.eu/spells/lost-empires-of-faerun--30/sun-scepter--1558/)?

Thank you in advance.

From what I can tell yes you can, just make note that holy weapon takes away all your sun scepter's extra stuff such as axiomatic disruptive and flaming burst in favor for the holy weapon stuff.

That's fine. What I'm really interested in is keeping the melee touch attack part of Sun Scepter and attaining the +5 enhancement of Holy Sword.

Is there a real need to get the touch attack with the extra +5, the touch attack already goes through armor.

My advice: Ask your Dungeon Master.

The rules say that you can cast the Holy Sword spell on a "sword, or any other melee weapon you choose." However, the Sun Scepter spell creates a "macelike scepter of solid light." Your DM may rule that this effect is not an actual mêlée weapon, but a weapon-like creation that acts like one.
