The There's dirty (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/improved-dirty-trick-combat) feat (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/greater-dirty-trick-combat) line (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/dirty-trick-master-combat) from Pathfinder is something I've always enjoyed the concept of.
However, I'm preparing for a 3.5 campaign in which I cannot use it because it's Pathfinder.
How would I go about emulating it in 3.5 by rules?
The feat line itself is vetoed, as the Dirty Trick maneuver is not a thing in 3.5.

Use it as written, but with an opposed roll in place of cmd

Disallowed by the DM.

I'm assuming you want "what's the closest thing 3.5 has to dirty trick?" and that any back-porting will be disallowed.

Yeah that sounds about right.

There are bunch of ways of getting debuffs onto the target, from feats like Stunning Fist and Sand Dancer to subsystems like maneuvers and invocations.
I actually was planning on compiling the information on this for a handbook, but I never finished...

Sand Dancer may be my best choice.

There are a few weapon properties that'll help pull this off. Sudden Stunning or Stunning will have a Cha-based save to avoid getting stunned each time a creature is hit with it.

Nothing I know of, but if you ever want to use it in PF try Pit Fighter (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/n-r/pit-fighter).
Wait. The 3.0 Arms & Equipment Guide has the weapon special material Gehennan Morguth-Iron. It has a weak injury poison built in, and you could debuff them with that.
Best I've got, sorry.
