Ideally it should have between 15-20 HD and be accessible via Polymorph.

On another somewhat related question, is there any spell that creates a fog that the caster can see through, but others cant'?

Minotaur with the Titanic (http://www.realmshelps.net/monsters/templates/titanic.shtml) template applied.

As for the spells, I'll look into the "All Spells" book and get back to you unless someone else does.

EDIT: Didn't see the 15-20 HD part, but that's definitely one way to do it.

Minotaur can definitely work, but I can't use Titanic because polymorph doesn't allow for templated creatures as far as I know.

Assassin's Darkness is an option

As is Doomtide

and any darkness spell if you bind tenebrous

and i think warlocks have a similar invocation

Class levels are pretty much tied up at this point, so Tenebrus or Warlock invocations don't work, Assassin's Darkness is perfect, but I can't really get it.

This is for a Suel Arcanamach build btw.

Spell research via wizard? Or Extra Spell

Reminds me of the "metamagic invisible - obscuring mists" trick to befuddle enemies who can see invisible objects.

Why not just use a normal Fog spell and take Blind-Fight?

I'm working on a Spriggan Kirito build for your Anime-Protagonist thread actually ^_^ and I already ran out of feats (again).

Obscuring snow + snow sight works, but I don't know if you could get the former as an Arcanamach.

Does the monster need to look like that, or can it just have the powers and be refluffed? If it can be refluffed, what are its powers?

OH! Awesome, I look forward to seeing it complete ^_^

It has a rending bite, it can breathe fire, it's hella fast and has a tail attack, as well as claw attacks, frightful presence...

Basically it can do everything a Red Dragon can do attack-wise except fly and cast spells.

And I guess its horns might be gore attacks.

Why not Polymorph into a Minotaur and then Giant Size it up?

Greathorn Minotaur from MM4. It is only large, but you can only increase by 1 size category with Polymorph. Greathorn Minotaur is nice because it comes with Awesome Blow as a bonus feat. You can hit people and knock them far away like in the show. You get a nice high strength and con score while decreasing in dex.

There is also the War Troll from MM3. I wouldn't use this form because it is too powerful. It has +14 NA, 40ft speed, large size, Str 31, Dex 16, Con 29, 2 claws, a bite, and forces anyone it hits with a weapon or claw attack to do a DC 25 Fort save or be dazed 1 round (Con based). War Troll also lacks horns.

The war troll is less of a power boost and more of an extreme power replacement.
