View Full Version : Optimization [3.X] Kamen Rider Wizard Build ideas

Hey Playgrounders,

I know I've asked a few questions like this before, but Wizard (aside from my possible favorite Kamen rider) is a little more suited to D&D than most other "modern" Kamen Riders. Wizard, as his name probably reveals, is a magic user. While he does fight hand-to-hand in a dance-battler style, his main gimmick and advantage over his enemies is his magic, accessed through the Wizard Rings (http://kamenrider.wikia.com/wiki/Wizard_Rings).

Now what I'm looking for is a build that allows my Wizard expy to utilize the magic in the rings efficiently, and still in combat. Thankfully, he only has two weapons, one morphing (http://kamenrider.wikia.com/wiki/WizarSwordGun)and one more suited to the Transformative or Aptitude Enchantment (http://kamenrider.wikia.com/wiki/AxCalibur). So a Sword proficiency for, maybe a Bastard Sword or something similar is needed. His form change, as shown by this forum already, will be provided by the Ring of Arming (probably in belt form), which will do double duty as it provides him either with his WizarSwordGun or AxCalibur as he needs it, as well as slapping his magical armor on when needed.

I'll compile some of the Wizard Rings here for those spells I can think of that match each ring's ability.
Small Ring: Reduce Person
Defend: (Depends on the Elemental Style used) Earthen Shield, Fire Shield or Holy Fire Shield, Mystic Shield, Shield [DEFINITELY], Sonic Shield
Sleep: Sleep Spell of course.
Big: I would say Earth Hammer, cause it makes either a hand or weapon larger and mostly deals blunt damage.
Light: Dawn Burst, since this was mostly a distraction/revealing move.
Liquid: Heart of Water
Bind: Binding Chain of Fate is the best I got.
Copy: D&D has very strict rules on clones, so nothing.
Drill: A mixture of Burrow and Rapid Burrowing, because Drill lets Wizard move at high speeds underground.
Smell: Again, I don't have anything, because as far as I know, there is no magic spell for making people smell bad.
Extend: For a third time, I have nothing. There's no spell that lets you stretch your arm like a rubber man to grab someone or something.
Dress Up: Alter Self, as it basically works like a Hat of Disguise
Excite: Bulls Strength, since it gives him Body-builder muscles.
Fall: This makes a literal hole in the ground, usually under Wizard. Nothing number 4.
Blizzard: Acts as Cone of Cold + Freeze. Mostly used for Freeze.
Thunder: Call Lightning.
Gravity: Nothing number 5. I don't know any spell that lets you alter gravity in an area in a telekinetic fashion.
Teleport: Teleport, or the Greater Variant.

Now the only other problem I have is the elemental attributes Wizard can add to his finishers, depending on his form. He can add fire, water/cold, air/electricity, and Earth to his attacks. If there's some way that can be channeled into his weapon, that works too. Also, don't worry about the price of the rings, because they were all made by someone else for Wizard.
