the title really says it all. are there any feats, maneuvers, base classes, PrC's, etc. that would allow me to use weapon finesse on a normally non-finessable weapon? or do i have to homebrew something?

note: it's one specific weapon, so if things like weapon focus/specialization are prerequisites that's okay.

Feycraft weapon template, DMG2, pg. 275. Can only affect 1h weapons. Costs 1500g.

If the weapon in question just so happens to be a katana, Iaijutsu Master (Oriental Adventures pp. 41-42) lets you get the benefit of Weapon Finesse while using one.

If you tell us the specific weapon, we may be able to suggest a work-around.

Dervish(CW) lets you count scimitars as light for the purpose of weapon finesse/TWF.

the weapon is a masterwork quality longsword that, as a quick action, can change into a halberd.

Feycraft. It should suffice, but only for the longsword part. If it's not enough, run the Aptitude enhancement by your DM and ask if it lets you use WF with the weapon.

If your DM happens to be a crazy person who lets his PCs become gods, then you could get the Longsword Finesse SDA that Corellon Larethian possesses (lets you add your Dexterity bonus to damage with a longsword), but that is an unlikely circumstance. Otherwise, I don't think there is any way.
