Streets XVI

[McBish]

Some people like the streets, so here they are

[McBish]

Eric wakes up but stays where he is for now.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi comes out of Lillah's house and goes to the OmniShop, a small backpack on her back.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian exits the OmniShop and jumps up onto a nearby roof. He sits on the edge, keeping back tears and thinking.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi belatedly comes out of the OmniShop and heads out towards the countryside. Once she is almost there, she pulls out her two purchases and uses them, creating a small house. She goes inside.

[Castaras]

Castaras walks quickly out of the magic guild and heads into Trogs.

[McBish]

Eric finnaly figures he better get up and does so. He carefully makes his way out of the alley way so not to be seen and starts to wander around not sure where he wants to go.

[Xaspian]

Pelgof leaves the Guild, and, after a pause, heads into Trog's.

[Nevrmore]

An explosion of ridiculous magnitude radiates out from the exact center of town. Miscellaneous buildings are uprooted. The streets begin to crumble away. Lines of flame spread out in every direction, acting as an ambassador for the ever expanding exergonic reaction destroying all in its path not powerful enough to block it. The horror lasts for many erratic moments before finally, in a whirlwind of smoke, it dies away.

[Saurous]

Ctrazt exits the Mages Guildhall, a face-tentacle rubbing his eye sleepily. He notices the cracks in the ground and the few uprooted buildings. He turns away from his course towards Trog's, and instead heads towards the gaping crater that is the center of Town.

[Xaspian]

A large cyclops strolls down the streets. A scythe in one hand, he stands tall against the sunlight. He pauses for a moment, and heads towards the commotion in the centre of Town.

Pelgof leaves Trog's, and heads back to the Guild

[AmberVael]

Verdandi comes into the streets from her house and goes to the OmniShop.[hr]Verdandi leaves the shop and goes back home.

[Saurous]

Ctrazt exits Trog's, and then heads towards the Mages Guild.

[Chaotic Bob]

Rizzen strides out of the Mage's Guild, calmly holding his side. He pops into Trog's for a moment.

[Goblin Music]

Valic exits the omnishop and then wanders of to the woods.

[McBish]

Eric leaves Trog's and returns to his alley following his ritual of circling around making sure no one is watching/following him and he goes into the alley and goes to sleep.

[AmberVael]

A bizarre, monstrous looking creature lopes down the streets at an incredible pace, somehow concealing itself in the shadow despite its bulk. It goes into Trog's very quickly.

[Kyrian]

A large shadow appears on a rooftop. Suddenly, a large creature lands on the roof. He curls his dragon wings around him and looks around the streets. Finally, he stands still enough that a passerby think it to be only a very large statue.

[Castaras]

Castaras walks out to Trogs and heads for the guild.

[AmberVael]

The strange, shadowy being comes out of Trog's and scrambles up the side of the building with five of its hands, the other holding its greatsword down behind it. It then leaps and unfurls its wings to jump onto the top.

[Kyrian]

The "statue" moves, turning to watch this new creature.

[AmberVael]

The slight movement of the 'statue' catches the being's attention, and it turns halfway around in burst of speed, ending up kneeling and with two of its right arms on the ground, keeping its balance. It eyes the 'statue' cautiously.

[Castaras]

Castaras walks out of the guild and heads to the Omnishop.

[Kyral]

The creature runs from Trog's and quickly runs into the middle of the street, eyes searching for the being. It sniffs the air, then begins climbing slowly up the building that the being is on top of.

[AmberVael]

The being notices the creature but doesn't pay it the slightest attention after marking its presence.

[Kyrian]

The "statue" watches with two fiery-red eyes, it's black and red skin moving slightly as he watches. His long, white hair hangs behind his dragon-like head, bunched into a ponytail. His black wings flex slightly.

[Castaras]

Castaras walks out of the omnishop and heads for Trogs again. She ignores the three things in the street.

[Kyral]

The creature, upon reaching the top of the building, growls quietly and gets to its feet. It glances at the statue before lowering its gaze to the being.

[AmberVael]

The being doesn't look away from the statue.

[metakirb]

Metakirb lands in the streets

Where is she? Maybe the woods.

He prepares to take off to head for the woods but his left wing gives way

Ok i rest first, then i check.

[Castaras]

Castaras walks out of Trogs. She pauses, and shoots a bolt into one of the shadows. A faint gasp of pain comes from them. Castaras frowns, walks over, picks up the writhing body, and walks into the slums.

Dammit, i can't afford to wait any longer

He runs towards the woods

[Castaras]

Castaras walks out of the slums. She wipes her blood covered hands on her trousers, before walking down the streets.

She heads out of the city gates into the countryside.

[Xaspian]

Pelgof strolls out of the Guild, and looks up and down the streets. After a moment, he heads into the countryside.

He returns, and slowly walksback towards the guild

[Kyrian]

The "statue" flexes its massive dragon wings again and roars at the shadowy creature.

[Baeleck]

Elune's head pokes round the door of Trogs to see what the roar was.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian just posted the answer at Trog's.

[AmberVael]

The being watches the statue without flinching or moving at all.

[Kyrian]

The creature cracks its neck and hops over to a roof that's closer to the being.

[Kyral]

The creature sniffs the air suddenly, then screeches loudly and leaps off the building. Surprisingly landing without being hurt, it quickly scrambles to its feet and darts into the station.

[AmberVael]

The being doesn't even move its head to follow the statue's progress. It remains as it is, tense and still.

[Castaras]

Castaras walks in from the countryside. She pauses outside Trogs, before turning and heading towards the guild.

[Kyrian]

((How tall is the being?))

The creature continues to hop roof to roof to get closer.

[Kyral]

The creature returns from the station, carrying its hatchet. It sprints into Trog's, glancing at the statue on the rooftop as it goes.

[AmberVael]

((Erm... maybe 7'6"?))

The creature still doesn't do anything.

[Kyrian]

The bipedal dragon creature jumps onto the roof that the creature is on and looks at it.

[AmberVael]

The being turns quickly to best defend itself should it be attacked.

[Kyrian]

The creature looks down at the being and gives a growl-like laugh. In a deep, rough voice he says, Don't make me laugh...

[AmberVael]

Shade doesn't react at all to the noise. It flicks its wings back a little to make itself look larger and more intimidating, while at the same time allowing it quicker reaction and take off time.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul watches it. What are you?

[AmberVael]

Shade doesn't react to the sound which most people interpret as speech.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul raises an eyebrow, and tries again. What are you?

[AmberVael]

We are what we are, what we have always been. What is its purpose?

[Kyrian]

We? My purpose is to find a new place to call home.

[AmberVael]

What does it want of us?

[Kyrian]

At the moment? To know what "we" is.

[AmberVael]

It is not entitled to understand what we are.

[Kyrian]

Says who? Maybe I can.

[Castaras]

Castaras walks out of the guild, journal under her arm. She heads for Trogs.

[AmberVael]

Shade's tentacles writhe and its wings rustle furiously.
We have decided you are not entitled. It is not allowed.

[Kyrian]

Whatever you are, strange as hell, that's for sure.

[AmberVael]

Its perspective is separate.

[Kyrian]

Loony. Nazgul jumps down from the roof, and after folding his wings against his back, heads into Trog's.

[AmberVael]

Shade watches the inferior creature head into Trog's, wondering if it will meet anything that is truly sentient.

[Lykan]

Deme walks out of the Omnishop, and sighs

[AmberVael]

Shade continues to stare across the streets blankly.

[Kyrian]

One of the OmniShop constructs points out that Deme didn't pay.

[Lykan]

Deme tells the omnishop bot to go screw himself. She then looks around for Fallon

[Kyrian]

The omnishop bot decides to take the clothing back, by force, until Deme pays.

[Wukei]

Falon follows Demi out, sees Kyrian being an idiot, and pulls a gun, shooting him in the head.

[Castaras]

Castaras comes out of Trogs and walks down to the slums.

[Lykan]

Deme looks around, sighing

Anything you think we should do today?

Antony comes out of an allyway, her cloak wrapped tightly around herself, and her hair rather disheveled

[Wukei]

Falon glances over at her other sibling. Are you okay?

[Lykan]

Antony looks up, brushing some hair away from her face

I woke up in an alleyway... My pants and boots were gone.

[Wukei]

Falon frowns and walks into the alleyway Antony came from to start tracking.

[Lykan]

Antony and Deme give her a wierd look

What's up?

A faint smell of booze and something sour-smelling runs deeper into the allyway

[Wukei]

Falon follows the scent, ignoring her siblings.

[Lykan]

The scent leads towards the slums

Fallon... What's going on?

[Wukei]

Falon waves her away and disappears into the slums.

[McBish]

Eric wakes up and slinks out of the alley way glancing around to make sure no one was watching him. He starts to wander around the Town.

[Goblin Music]

Valic flies to the tavern

[McBish]

Eric heads into Trog's.

[AmberVael]

Shade drops down off the top of Trog's and goes back inside.

[Vespe Ratavo]

Devlin and Jennifer rush down the street decapitating NPC's, while Vespe and Amy run after them trying to stop them. The E.B.A arrive on the scene, singing Sweet Home Alabama.

[AmberVael]

Shade exits Trog's Tavern, hissing to itself about ignorant people and lack of understanding.

[Vespe Ratavo]

Vespe, Jennifer, and the E.B.A enter Trogs, carrying bound Devlin and Jennifer behind them.

[Kyrian]

Mike steps out of Trog's, hands smoking. He looks around, searching for the source of the evil.

[AmberVael]

Shade is amidst a thin veil of summoned shadow on top of the roof of Trog's.

[Kyrian]

Mike watches the shadows, as the changes overtake him and he becomes the Rider. He points up at the shadows. "Guilty."

[AmberVael]

Shade does not move or react at all.

[Kyrian]

Mike growls and throws a small fireball up at the shadows.

[AmberVael]

Without a whisper of sound Shade wreathes himself in darkness and jumps out of the way, landing behind Mike.

[Kyrian]

Mike slowly reaches for the chain wrapped around his shoulders.

[AmberVael]

Shade lunges fowards, trying to wrap a tentacle around Mike's throat while snatching at his arms with two arms apiece. His other arms try and lock around his chest while his remaining tentacle remains ready.

[Seng Lu]

The monk steps out into the street. Noticing Mike, he frowns and his left eye glows slightly as he nears him.

He has made a deal with a devil or demon, I can feel it....

The monk nods. So he has...but we shall wait and see which of the two wins. Perhaps the shadow creature will destroy him without us having to do the dirty deed. Though I know you would enjoy it, Yao mo.

[Kyrian]

Mike's caught, and laughs at Shade.

[AmberVael]

Shade tightens his grip, keeping a close hold but not attempting to kill Mike at all. He takes his free tentacle and tries to wrap it around Mike's upper head.

[Kyrian]

Mike doesn't try to stop him, though he becomes engulfed in hellfire.

[Goblin Music]

Valic exsits the tavern and draws his revolvers pointing one at the battle and one at the monk
don't he warns him. by the way what is your name? in a casual tone of voice

[Seng Lu]

The monk tilts his head slightly upon seeing the revolver pointed at him. You assume much to think I would interfere. And one does not ask another's name while pointing a gun in their face.

[Goblin Music]

((Not face, feet)) And... this is there fight.

[AmberVael]

Shade hisses, though a good deal of the fire does nothing against his hide, and some of the burns heal over instantly. Shade flings Mike from him, hurling him at the wall of Trog's.

[Seng Lu]

((I only meant that you were pointing it at me, period. It's rude.))

As I've stated, already, you assume much to think I would interfere. I am but a humble monk. Why would I step into a fight between a dark creature and a man of flames?

[Goblin Music]

Now both handguns point at Shade

[Kyrian]

Mike growls as he hits the wall, and slides down it to the ground. Metal begins to cover his entire body, with the exception of his head and hands. It also blackens and turns into his hellfire armor. "Go back to hell..."

[AmberVael]

Shade, as normal, does not process the sounds as language. Instead he takes a defensive posture, presentings his left side only to Mike.

[Chaotic Bob]

Chaotic Bob appears on the roof of Trog's and notes all the other people.
Man, looks like everyone came to watch.
I don't suppose you want me to interfere do you?

[Kyrian]

Mike pulls the chain off his shoulders and readies himself.

[AmberVael]

Shade continues waiting, not acknowledging Chaotic Bob at all.

[Kyrian]

Mike starts to circle Shade.

[Goblin Music]

Calith appears on Valic's shoulder which doesn't seams to faze him.

[AmberVael]

Shade doesn't move at all, standing almost as if he is frozen.

[Chaotic Bob]

Chaotic Bob shrugs, twirling an arrow in his hand.

[Kyrian]

Mike waits until he's behind Shade, and swings the chain.

[AmberVael]

Shade ducks under the chain, spreading his arms and wings for balance. As he does his eyes glow red and he opens his terrible maw, spewing forth a blast of acid.

[Kyrian]

Mike takes the blast, and parts of his armor melts away, though it slowly begins generating again.

[AmberVael]

Shade hisses and uses an Unholy Blight on Mike.

[Goblin Music]

Need some firepower? Valic says

[Seng Lu]

Forgive me for saying this, but you, sir, are a hypocrite. You point a gun in my face telling me not to interfere--which I never intended to do--but you wish to do so yourself?

[Kyrian]

Mike growls at the pain, and wraps the chain back around him. He watches Shade.

[Goblin Music]

in a sense but i ask first, see?

[AmberVael]

Shade seems to tense, then leaps at Mike, slashing with all six clawed hands, his tail, his tentacles, and even biting at him.

[Seng Lu]

He shakes his head. No. I do not see the difference. You'd threatened to shoot me, but you did not know if I had asked whether they needed my help or not. Nor, indeed, who I wished to help.

[Chaotic Bob]

Chaotic Bob pulls out his bow.
Now now, no deaths please.
Now now, no deaths please.

[Kyrian]

Mike takes this moment to roll under Shade, though a couple claws scratch his back up.

[Goblin Music]

*Sigh* you said something earlier.
Yes, Yes you did.

[AmberVael]

Shade spins instantly and tries to catch Mike's legs with a tentacle or tail and trip him up.

[Seng Lu]

He raises an eyebrow. Did I? I don't recall saying anything...

[Kyrian]

Mike is tripped and rolls onto his back.

[Goblin Music]

Dirty deed? hmm?

[AmberVael]

Shade drops a clawed foot towards Mike's chest, trying to pin him down.

[Kyrian]

Mike growls as he's trapped.

[AmberVael]

Shade leans towards him, then attempts to backhand him with a Smite Evil.
((Yes. Smite Evil))

[Goblin Music]

Now? c'mon man!

[Kyrian]

Mike tilts the flaming skull that is his head in confusion.

[Seng Lu]

Indeed. I see what this Mike meant. You are quite nosy.

[AmberVael]

Does is it understand? We are not to be trifled with. It should leave us on our own.

[Chaotic Bob]

Chaotic Bob laughs and launches an arrow into the sky. It explodes and forms words.

INCORRECT ASSUMPTION!

[Kyrian]

Mike struggles some. "Does you not understand? I'm am Evil's Bane."

[AmberVael]

Shade's eyes narrow, the odd combination of golden insect and animal eyes appearing entirely alien. You need to find the right prey. We are not evil.

[Kyrian]

"Care to explain why you register as evil then?"

[Goblin Music]

How is this? Ooooo, you are in it deep.
Puzzling isn't it.

[Seng Lu]

The monk smiles as the creature reveals that it's not evil and he turns his attention back on Mike.

The nosy one will not allow you to attack. Not even my kind, Monk.

We'll cross that bridge if it comes to it...

[AmberVael]

We do not. It is not entitled to understanding. A strange, glimmering gold aura appears around Shade as he uses Cure Serious Wounds on Mike, then backs off.

[Kyrian]

Mike rolls back into a crouched position. His head and hands are still fiery skeletal figures as he watches Shade carefully.

[AmberVael]

Niether are we one of the good. Does it understand?

[Kyrian]

"You're neutral then?"

[AmberVael]

Shade hesitates, then gives a single nod. You understand. We will watch you, Bane.

[Seng Lu]

The monk calls out: Tell me, 'Evil's Bane' how it is that you yourself are also of the evil persuasion? Too many of you going after the good, you felt the need to expand into your own kind?

[Kyrian]

"My name's actually Mike. Or you can call me The Rider. Bane if you insist, it really doesn't matter to me."

He turns towards the Monk. "I am not evil."

[AmberVael]

We are Shade. We will be watching... Shade flits off into the shadows, vanishing.

[Seng Lu]

The monk smiles slyly, So you say...but can something that is only a puppet of a demon state that they are not evil?

[Chaotic Bob]

Chaotic Bob smiles at the conversation and puts his bow away, still twirling the arrow.

[Kyrian]

"I am no puppet. You know nothing of who I am."

[Goblin Music]

The Raptoran vanishes with a crack, the cat siting on the ground.

[Seng Lu]

His red eye glows. You assume much, Puppet.

It fades and he smiles as though he weren't interrupted. I can tell quite a bit, Evil's Bane.

[Kyrian]

"Oh really? Perhaps you could tell me my story then, about how I became like this?"

Mike scans the monks alignment.

[Seng Lu]

((The monk's alignment does not stay constant. It swirls between LG, to N, to CE))

He smiles, I do not know your story. I know what you are.

[Kyrian]

"Then you are a fool."

[Seng Lu]

He smiles and shakes his head. You know nothing of me. How can you state that in good faith without judging me yourself, and thus being a hypocrite?

[Kyrian]

"You claim me to be something I'm not, and know nothing of me." The fires die down, and muscles, skin, and hair reform. The hellfire armor lightens, becoming a metal armor that still covers Mike. It grows to cover his hands, though his head still remains uncovered.

[Seng Lu]

He smiles. Perhaps you do not know what you are. That is fine...I have time.

[Kyrian]

"I know what I am. Human."

[Seng Lu]

The monk bows, conceding. As you wish.

[Kyrian]

Mike growls slightly and gives a sharp whistle.

[Chaotic Bob]

Chaotic Bob raises an eyebrow and disappears in a shower of feathers.

[Seng Lu]

The monk turns and makes his way back into the tavern.

[Kyrian]

Mike glares at the back of the monk's head, as his horse gallops over. He stands there, watching for a moment, before climbing onto the horse and leaving.

[Uberblah]

Conrad walks out of Trog's. He's still looking for Ishmale but he has no idea where to find him. Conrad sees the beach and wonders if he'll find Ishmale there. He heads that way.

[Goblin Music]

Calith vanishes.

[Uberblah]

Conrad comes back from the beach a little depressed. He decides to ask the nearest NPC if it's seen Ishmale. The NPC looks at Conrad with confusion.
Ishmale who?
The NPC then randomly explodes in a shower of pine-scented car air-fresheners.

[Kyrian]

Silas leaves the station and sees this. "Stop now."

[Uberblah]

Conrad looks at Silas.
Stop what? Asking questions about the whereabouts of my brother?

[Kyrian]

"The exploding part."

[Uberblah]

Conrad looks at the air-fresheners at his feet.
Oh. That? I never touched the guy. He randomly exploded. I didn't even will him to. I swear.

[Kyrian]

"Better not have." Silas steps back inside the station.

[Uberblah]

Have a good evening!!
Conrad waves at the leaving Silas and sits down wondering where to search next. After a while he just heads back into Trog's.

[McBish]

Eric comes outside of Trog's following a man into an alley way.

Two more men are waiting for them in the alley. "We have another job for you." He hands Eric a note and Eric opens it up and reads it over an unreadable expresion comes over his face. He looks up at the man, You want me to hit this ship? "Yes. Is that a problem?" It might be. Is it ok if I have some time to think it over. It will be a challange and I'm not sure I'm up to it. "Ok kid, since I like you I'll give you a couple of days to think it over. But don't go telling anyone, anything. Ok?" Of course not. Eric heads out of that alley way and goes into his and goes to sleep. He seems distracted and does check for watchers.

[Castaras]

Castaras heads out of the guild and into Trogs.

Alena pulls Alex out of the Eyrie and stretches her wings while she waits for him to lock the door.

[Hawkeye]

Alex locks the door and gently tugs Alena down the streets.

[wxdruid]

Alena laughs and follows where he leads.

[Hawkeye]

Alex looks at Alena as they walks "Y'know I don't actually know where the library is...guess we'll have to walk around until we say a building with the word "Library" outside it."

[wxdruid]

Teasingly Alena replies, And here I thought you knew where everything was.

[Hawkeye]

Alex sticks his tongue out at her.

[wxdruid]

Alena partially spreads her wings in reply and grins at him, It is a nice day for a walk though.

[Renrik]

Seeing as how.. umm... pretty much all the dwarven NPCs in Town are currently fighting at Datharral, the goblins that didn't leave with the GSA troops to fight in the battle (about 60% of the population), are engaged in the active looting and robbery of the dwarven district.

[Hawkeye]

Alex nods and squeezes Alena's hand "Nice sunny weather."

[wxdruid]

Alena squeezes his hand back, Yes, very delightful, lifts my soul.

[Hawkeye]

Alex grins "I know something else that lifts you up" he nimbly steps in and sweeps Alena off her feet

[wxdruid]

Alena giggles and puts her arms around his neck, Yes, it does, every single time.

[Kyrian]

Mike exits Trog's and begins looking around.

[Hawkeye]

Alex smiles and kisses her "So you're comfy there?"

[wxdruid]

She looks at him with soulful angel eyes, I'm always comfy and secure in your arms, Sweetheart.

[Hawkeye]

Alex smiles and kisses her again. He begins walking down the streets "Keep your beautiful eyes open for the library angel."

[Kyrian]

Mike sees some goblins stealing. "Hey, what do you think you're doing?"

[wxdruid]

Alena settles in his arms comfortably and tries to keep her eyes open.

[Hawkeye]

Alex walks the streets, unlikely to see the library because most of the time he's looking at Alena.

[wxdruid]

Alena kindly pushes his chin up so he's watching where they are going.

[Hawkeye]

Alex smiles and looks where he's going, but after a minute he's back looking at Alena.

[wxdruid]

Alena sighs, Sweetheart? you know we'll never get anywhere if you only look at me.

[Hawkeye]

Alex pouts "But I like looking at you"

[AmberVael]

Shade ghosts out of an alley and goes into Trog's.

[wxdruid]

In a dry tone of voice, I noticed, I also know that I'm not as familiar with Town as you should be.

[Hawkeye]

"I mostly teleport to where I want to be, and I've never ventured into the library before."

[wxdruid]

Alena chuckles, Silly, you're not a library type person?

[Castaras]

Castaras comes out of Trogs and heads for the magic guild.

[Hawkeye]

"I've not really thought about it before."

[wxdruid]

hm, I think we need to start our own personal library at home. Do you know where we can buy some books? and not just borrow them?

[Hawkeye]

"The omnishop is said to sell anything you could want that exists."

[wxdruid]

Really? Sounds interesting. Go down that street, I think I see a library looking building.

[Hawkeye]

Alex nods and follows the street before he gets to the building, conveniently enough it has a sign saying "library" outside it "This appears to be the place"

[wxdruid]

So, are you going to carry me inside?

[AmberVael]

Verdandi comes up from her house, obviously having been at the forge for quite some time. She walks to Trog's.

[Hawkeye]

((grr...stupid network))

Alex smiles "Yep" he carries Alena inside the building

[AmberVael]

Verdandi comes out of Trog's and waits.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian steps outside and gives Verdandi a small smile.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi doesn't smile back, but she does start walking towards her house.

[McBish]

Eric wakes up and heads down to the docks.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian follows her.

[AmberVael]

They eventually reach her home and she goes inside.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian follows without question.

[The_Librarian]

The librarian heads out into the streets and wraps her wings around herself against the chilly contrast to the warm tavern.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul steps outside and stretches his wings. Cold?

[The_Librarian]

"I'll warm up," the librarian replies. She sets off at quite a pace down the street.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul has no trouble matching her pace.

[The_Librarian]

"I should warn you, the temple's not been used for a while, but I know where there's some sleeping mats hidden away. Mainly because me and my brother hid them." She grins and pushes open the door of the temple.

"Come in out of the cold."

[McBish]

Eric heads out of Trog's and towards the docks.

A red and black flying create appears to be circling over the town. Those with excellent eyesight can see that it's Phoenixineohp.

Alena carries Alex out of the library and looks around. She stretches her wings, feeling the urge to fly.

[Hawkeye]

"If you want to fly, take us away. I can hold onto the books unless you try the fancy flying."

[wxdruid]

Phoenix walks out of Inari's and down to Trog's.

Maal whistles an eerie tune to himself as he makes his way to Trog's.

Eric leaves Trog's carrying a large book and moves steathifully around the streets till he finds a place to sleep.

Zchiz runs out of Trog's and goes through the street laughing insanely.

The two drow run out of Trogs after him. One draws a crossbow and fires at him.

Shock you, you fething mad axe! Destro takes off after the Drow and Zchiz. I'm chaining you to the nearest wall I can find once I catch up to you!

The crossbow bolt, oddly, seems to glance off of Zchiz's skin. He slows to fling a regular lightning bolt at the two drow over his shoulder.

One gets hit, the other dodges. They carry on after Zchiz. Ilvari appears beside them, and throws a power word pain after Zchiz.
