Wyroot is wyrd

Someone has probably found this out before but Wyroot from Advanced Race Guide has a pretty nifty effect upon criting. The damage from the crit is negated and instead, it gets one 'life point'. These lifepoints can be traded in for Ki or Arcane Pool.
Now, imagine after every battle, you tie yourself up and beg a teammate to Coup you with a Wyroot Qstaff.
You take no damage, absorb, the Ki/Pool and do it all over again. Ki/Arcane Pool now refreshes every encounter instead of every day.

Just thought that this needs more attention.

Does it only negate the extra damage from a critical hit or all damage from that attack according to the wording? Because if it only negates the extra damage, you would still be in for a world of hurt.
