3rd Level Evocation for a Bard

Are there any good 3rd level evocation spells for a bard out there? All legitimate books are open (3.5).

Really, just wanted to know if there's actually something viable out there.

If you want to deal damage, Whirling Blade (SC, 2nd) is pretty good. Get Sculpt Spell (CA) and it's 3rd level, and you get Inspire Courage/DFI bonuses to all the attacks you make with it.

Use the Ancestral Relic Runestaff (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?267805-Sorcerer-Handbook#4) trick, put all the non-Bard spells you want on it, each morning when you attune yourself to it make a DC 21 UMD check to emulate a class spell list, and use the spells from it as though they're Bard spells.

Goggles of the Golden Sun and Gloves of the Starry Sky from the Raiment of the Four set in MIC give you access to Fireball and Magic Missile, respectively.

I assume it must be from the bard list. Not much for 3rd level Evocations there. Hymn of Praise and Infernal Threnody are +2 CL for Good and Evil divine casters, respectively, both from the Spell Compendium.
