And by that I mean Not Havoc Mage, Spellsword, MageKnight or JadePhoenix mage I already know about them.

The swiftblade (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/prc/20070327) is pretty nice. Daggerspell mage is weaker than straight wizard, because of entry requirements, but so is every other gish build.

You could just go duskblade, too. That works.

Abjurant Champion is great for being able to buff itself for long periods of time in a pinch, and the capstone makes your caster level equal to your BAB if it'd be higher than your current one.

Swiftblade is great because any spellcaster can use it and it's got some great abilities.

Spellsinger is a gish PrC, but it's not very good because literally every class feature it gets can be replicated by other classes.

Knight Phantom (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20050706a&page=4)is solid, granting 9/10 casting advancement and letting you cast in light armor.
Runesmith (Races of Stone) makes a great one-level dip, letting you cast spells without somatic components.
Sacred Exorcist is a solid way to round out a gish build, offering medium BAB and 10/10 casting.

You can always see if your DM will buy the "adaptation" sidebar.

Yeah, a non-dwarf runesmith isn't an unreasonable request. Many prestige classes have an adaptation section, and a lot of the come right out and say 'there is no reason for this class to be exclusive to this race/worshipers of this deity/other.'

One of the Cityscape classes (Urban Savant or Urban Soul... I always confuse them) also gets armored casting with light investment and 0 lost CL. It can be a decent filler dip.

Some of the cool fighter-Mage classes that don't get a lot of time in the spotlight are Impure Prince from Magic of Eberron (4/5 casting, 5/5 BA and an extra symbiont guaranteed) and Cyran Avenger (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/iw/20050707b&page=2) (again 5/5 BA and 4/5 casting on a charisma- based smiter).

What really makes those two interesting though, is that along with just a handful of other PrCs (I think the complete list is Halfling Whistler, Renegade Mastermaker, Nosomatic Chirurgeon, Ruathar and I want to say Master Harper) that put a decent chassis on "weird" subsystem casters like Shadowcaster or Warlock, should you ever be inspired to shoehorn them into traditionally-styled Gish builds.

I second that idea! The Abjurant Champion is a great prestige class! You get a full Caster Level progression, full BAB, and a number of decent small bonuses to your Abjuration spells.

The easiest way to enter this PrC is if you are an Elf Wizard or Sorcerer, since it requires proficiency with at least one martial weapon. The only other thing that you'll need that you might not already have is to take the (not so great) Combat Casting feat.
