So in the text in CW it says the only limit to the amount of times per day he can transform is the number of times he enters rage.

Later in the text it says any BW can assume the form of a black bear once a day. At lvl5 he can be a black/brown twice a day. Lvl10 allows 3 times a day dire/brown/black.

So which is it? If I take Extra Rage I get more rages; do I also get more bear or is it capped at 3/day?

CW Errata removed the contradictory times/day limit. You can bear whenever you rage.
