Thought Exercise: Gestalt or not with certain constraints

If you had a choice between any tier 3 class with 32 point buy or Dragonfire Adept//Warlock Gestalt with straight 10s in all stats... which would you choose (starting from first level). Feel free to elaborate as much as you want or not.

Personally I'd go with the gestalt because it sounds like more fun.

Depends on what I'm wanting to do with that toon in particular. That particular Gestalt makes for the ultimate Energizer Bunny build with a nice-sized infinitely refreshing bag of tricks, especially if you pick your Invocations and Feats to need as little stat input on your part as possible, which CAN be done. If I want to be something more robust, though (melee combatant, certain flavors of caster, skill monkey, etc.), then the T3 would be better. Both would have about equal use in a party, though, depending on how either is built.

There is no sinergy between those two classes, and there is a lot of overlap, it doesn't really fit what I would call fun...
