I just ran across this spell in Masters of the Wild. My question is this spell OP? It doesn't state that there is a Fort save for the gas so basically if you are Druid 10 you would have them make that con check for 50 rounds?

The version in Masters of the Wild, you're correct. That spell was reprinted in the Complete Divine 3.5 supplemental, then reprinted again into the Spell Compendium where it updated the spell giving it a Fort Save Negates with a few other things. At least if I'm reading it right.

EDIT: The way it's worded though, you only risk suffocation if you attempt to hold your breath. As long as you don't t speak, cast spells with verbal components, use breath weapons, or utter command words to activate magic items, you're just fine.

Thanks that makes it a lot better. although they did move it up 2 spell lvls so it is actually weaker now.
