Hello,

I tried out Pathfinder Socieity and found it an enjoyable expereince. So I am looking at making an caster aimed at using control winds as his signature spell. If I go straight wiz/sorc I miss out on it (Is a feat or something for domains?). If I go cleric/druid I miss out on too many of the arcane toys.

Mystic Theurge could be a compromise but I don't know if being behind in the 1.5 spell levels for each spell list will work in a party. And Multiclassing wizard seems to have me loose out on learning new spells as I level up, while the sorcerer bloodline doesn't seem to have that restriction. Am I missing something here?

Thank you in advance,

There's a guide (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?296803-Pathfinder-mini-guide-Casting-spells-from-other-lists) to getting Off List spells added to your list.

I'm not up on what is all Society legal so:

PrC's look like the best way for Arcane to get the spell.
Pathfinder Savant (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/a-b/pathfinder-savant) can add any spell to your list, but it counts as +1 level (so Control Winds would be a 6th level spell). It loses 1 level of casting at first though.

Magaambyan Arcanist (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/c-d/magaambyan-arcanist) doesn't lose caster levels, and gets to add Druid spells, but the Druid spell must be at least _two_ levels lower than the highest you can cast, so you wouldn't be able to grab Control Winds until Caster level 13. It would still count as a 5th level spell though.

Similar to the Pathfinder Savant, the Daivrat (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/c-d/daivrat#TOC-Spell-Fetch-su-) gives you access to extra spells, although spells off of your class list are 2 levels higher, which is a bit painful.

This needs to be added to the guide...
How the heck did we miss it for so long?
Oh, that's right, cause the PrC is otherwise pretty "meh".
