I have a find selection of books and was going to give my players the chance to read the books, have asked this previously to this forum but I am asking again because well I forgot the answer.

My advices for both the DM and PC books: PHB II, DMG II, the "Complete" series, Dungeonscape, Expanded Psionics Handbook, "Races of" series, Magic Item Compendium, Spell Compendium, Rules Compendium, Tome of Battle.

That's the optimal set IMO.

Probably this.
