I'm running a module, but I need to prolong it a bit. So I figured that when the groupe is back from the Sinister Spire they will be confronted by a group of NPC's. So this group is going to be a warblade, a druid and a crusader. The group im up against is all LA+1 and they are all lvl 7. one is a fighter, a cleric, a gish, a warlock and a draconic sorcerer.
So I really need a groupe that is suited to challange this groupe but not.
what level and power lvl should I go for?
Im at a bit of a loss when it comes to matching power lvls and I would hate to go to high, but also if I went too low... they might even be lvl 8 when they meet this groupe.
So the setting: I plan on letting the groupe facing the crusader with the warblade and druid being in ambush...
the Warblade will be a wall to block access to the druid and the druid will be summoning
we are at an urban envioriment... so ppl could be on rooftops or inside buildings.. but they should be able to beat this encounter.
