I have a question to do with demoralize. I'm curious if you can demoralize a pc in combat. not use the skill to alter how they act or think,m but impose the shaken effect on them. im going to be using a barbarian bbeg soon and he has intimidating rage, so i wanted to know before session. thanks in advance

Yes, you can. PCs are not immune to Intimidate unless they have some kind of immunity to fear.

Feats like Cornugon Smash (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/cornugon-smash-combat) and Dreadful Carnage (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/dreadful-carnage-combat) are good for that, as well.
