Craft Contingent Spell and Triggers

Do you have to be aware of the trigger for Craft Contingent Spell? (or Contingent Spell, for that matter, if it makes a difference).

For example, Detect Secret Doors set to trigger whenever I am within 60ft of a hidden door?

The problem with "Detect Secret Doors" is a Concentration spell, so this means the subject need to focus and concentrate on locating the secret door. For my understanding the Contingent Spell will not trigger because the subject is not aware of the secret door.
