In our Mummy's Mask group, we have an Ifrit sorcerer, elemental fire blood line. We're choosing spells, but is there an easier way to find all the ones that are fire based?

This is one place to look.

I have a personal database of spells I put together for a different project which has all 600 odd core spells, let me see if I can write a quick python script to kick out all the ones that are fire based.

Edit:

Ok, so did a quick search via script. Here are all the spells from the core Pathfinder rulebook which explicitly have the [fire] as part of the spell descriptor:

Fire Shield
Fire Trap
Flame Strike
Heat Metal
Fire Seeds
Fireball
Flaming Sphere
Burning Hands
Meteor Swarm
Delayed Blast Fireball
Fire Storm
Scorching Ray
Incendiary Cloud
Produce Flame
Flame Blade
Wall of Fire

And here are the spells from the above list which are on the Sorcerer class list:

Fire Shield
Fire Trap
Fireball
Flaming Sphere
Burning Hands
Meteor Swarm
Delayed Blast Fireball
Scorching Ray
Incendiary Cloud
Wall of Fire

I would like to also add that this does not include bloodline spells which are not normally on the sorcerer list, and that there is a sorcerer bloodline which can transform any elemental damage spell into a fire spell, which adds the [fire] descriptor to your personal version of the spell.

Got you covered (http://www.pathfindercommunity.net/home/databases/spells).
Takes a bit to load, but there are downloadable versions, pdf's, xls's, even txt's!
