I know this is possible in 3.5 with a feat, but is there any way to get DEX to climb checks in PF?

Didn't you just answer your own question? Agile Athlete is the name of the feat.

This resource (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?125732-3-x-X-stat-to-Y-bonus) will answer all such questions in the future, and no there is only the feat.

I tagged this thread Pathfinder for a reason. I know it is possible in 3.5, I was wondering about PF.

The OP says 3.5.

Corrected for clarity.

Now, sortof?

Play a small race. Cast reduce person on yourself. Now you use dex for climb & swim, like all other tiny or smaller creatures.

(Bestiary pg. 131)

Reduce person, eh? That's not a bad idea.

Also, yeah, sorry, typo XD

Yes, I know, thank you. It does not include tricks as those by Talya, though. Which I may use.

Get a DM who is into rock climbing, because most of them will attest that climbing has little to do with how strong you are, and much more with your ability to place your foot next to your ear.

The Reduce Person completely worked out for the build. Tiny Goblin dragging around a Medium gun? Hell yes

Thanks everyone

Glad it worked out but shouldn't your gun shrink with you? (You wouldn't have to worry about the damage though, as the bullets should revert mid-flight.)

The gun is naturally Large. It shrinks to Medium. Goblin Gunslinger allows me to use it. Reduce person says specifically that projectile weapon damage depends on the weapon size, so it does not actually change back.

My bad, I was thinking of thrown weapons.

I wonder if there's a way to get even smaller, but keep the weapon the same size... it can only help. I may be reading the feat too literally, but still :P

Yeah, it's a problem with Pathfinder. The enlarging spells and reducing spells say the exact opposite thing with regards to projectile weapons, it's a blatant contradiction. I brought it up years ago, Jason Bulmahn said they'd look into it, and...the only thing that ever happened was we got the Gravity Bow spell...

It includes _some_ PF, and last time I checked the PF part hadn't been updated for over a year...

Well, again, it can only help. Heck, now I am imagining using a naturally Gargantuan gun, size down 3 times... You'd be a Fine Goblin (with all the advantages that come with that, save that one time Intimidation may the thrown your way, and that can be worked around) who can still manipulate a Medium sized gun without penalty (although encumbrance may become an issue) and would do damage as if it were still Gargantuan XD
