I'm putting together a gestalt Wizard/Mindchemist for an upcoming campaign, and I was wondering something about the combination.

First off, the alchemist's Swift Alchemy ability applies to the time it takes to make "alchemical items," but it doesn't specify whether potions count for that. Do they count for Swift Alchemy, or would I still have to take the full time to craft a potion?

Second, assuming that Swift Alchemy does apply to potions, would the 25% faster crafting time from the Arcane Study wizard discovery stack with it?

Potions are magic items, not alchemical items. They are listed in the magic items creation guidelines, not under craft alchemy. It would be an interesting house rule to make them without spellcasting, but it would be a house rule.
