We have a player in our 5e game that is playing via Skype, much to my dismay, and a couple of us are skeptical of his dice rolls since we can't always see them perfectly with how he situates his camera.

Does anyone know of a Dice Roller that would roll directly from his PC to the one he's streaming to that he wouldn't be able to fudge the rolls with?

I am sure there are better programs if you only want to roll dice, but when I played over Teamspeak, we used maptool. It is free and rolling dice is very easy, especially if some macros are used. You might even start using it for some maps, because it is so easy to just load up a map and place some tokens on it.

it says that it is 'obsolete' because of a Skype update, thanks though

Traditionally, when taking one step forward, it is often customary to take two steps back.

If your player doesn't mind, then I'd advise doing so with his Skype, so he can use the program. :smallwink:

I would recommend using either rolz.org or roll20.net. Roll20 has more roleplaying tools, such as maps, fog of war etc.

Is in-browser, but pretty nice. If everyone logs in with the same password, even a moderately-sized group can roll together, using different dice colours.
