View Full Version : Rise of the Runelords - Post AP Ideas

So here's a question that's been bouncing around in my head for awhile but before I get to that some background.

Warning minor(?) AP spoilers in there.

I have been DMing the Paizo Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path, Pathfinder rule-set, for good while now with this group. We are nearing the end of the 5th module and it suddenly struck me that I have absolutely no game plan for if my party doesn't destroy/somehow turn off the Leng Device in the 6th module. My question is this: For those of you that have read/run this AP how would you run a post-campaign module about resealing/defeating Mhar? In-fact how would you even stat him up if at all?

I figured I would team them up with Karzoug but beyond that I do not have the mastery of the rules/lore to make a good quality story/game for my players and I want to make it worth it for them.


I've looked around a few places and haven't found anything and so am curious what you all could come up with, so thank you very much in advance for the help.
