I want to introduce an island in my world, an island that was ravaged by lycanthropy. The idea is that this is a stronger brand of lycanthropy and infected lycanthropes can infect others. I was wondering how I could keep this concept fresh, so I considered were (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/templates/lycanthrope)dinosaurs (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/animals/dinosaur).
My idea is that this island had a thriving community once, but by now is ruled by savage and warring weredino tribes. The tribe has a large amount of a useful natural resource, but getting it is going to be really hard.
Now, do you have any idea I could spin out of such a setting? All suggestions are welcome.
