Does fast movement apply only to land speed or other speeds as well?

Fast Movement (Ex): At 3rd level, a monk gains an enhancement bonus to her speed, as shown on Table 3–10.
A monk in armor (even light armor) or carrying a medium or heavy load loses this extra speed.

The entry doesn't limit it to base land speed, so it's fair to apply it to any form of movement.

That's what The Sage's take (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ask/20070102a) on it is, anyways.

It's an enhancement bonus that does not stack with other enhancement bonuses, but it adds to ANY form of movement the monk has. For example, the monk in the group I run for has managed to get a flight speed of 480'.

Thank you for your replies and i know same type of bonus do not stack. I was just not 100% certain if this applied to other types of movement or not. Not sure if it would really have mattered, can not do much with movement, but wanted it clarified.

It'll give you a boost to any listed speed you have. If you later acquire a Climb speed, for instance, you'll add +10' (or whatever) to that.
