How many ways are there for a character to deal str damage? Specifically Melee Characters.

I've found Quell the Profain from Book of Exalted Deeds, but what else is there from pathfinder or dnd 3.5 to deal str dmg in melee?

All PF below:
Ninja 2 (or Rogue 2) can take the Pressure Points (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/alternate-classes/ninja#TOC-Ninja-Tricks) trick to deal 1 STR or DEX damage on successful Sneak Attack.
The 'upgrade' to that is the Crippling Strike (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/rogue/rogue-talents/paizo---rogue-advanced-talents/crippling-strike-ex) Advanced Rogue Skill, which does 2 STR damage.

10 levels of Duelist (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/core-rulebook/duelist) PrC gets a variety of options when landing a Critical hit, among them is 1d4 STR or DEX damage.

Last, and certainly least, is the Learned Duelist (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/fighter/archetypes/paizo---fighter-archetypes/learned-duelist-fighter-archetype) Fighter archetype. After wading through 17 levels of "eh", you get the chance to damage the ability of your choice on a Critical Hit. The damage done is equal to Crit Multiplier though, so 2 -to- 4 damage (+1 at level 20 thanks to Weapon Mastery.)

For Pathfinder, the only things I can think of outside class-specific abilities would be to scrounge up some poisons that deal Str damage.

The only Str poisons you can use on a weapon are dragon bile (1d3, can't be cured by saving), large scorpion venom (1d2), medium spider venom (1d2), purple worm venom (1d3), and shadow essence (1 Str drain on initial, 1d2 Str damage on secondary).
If you can find an alchemist with the Poison Conversion discovery, you can have them convert belladonna (1d2), dark reaver power (1d3 Con and 1 Str), or lich dust (1d3) into a contact or injury poison

Dangerously Curious trait (+1 UMD, UMD always a class skill) and a wand of Ray of Enfeeblement.

1. That's a penalty to str, not damage. Still useful, but different (such as...not getting multiplied on a critical hit).
2. If you're using PF stuff, be careful. They nerfed RoE massively in PF, it's only round/level now *AND* gets a fort save for half, so that wand is quite worthless unless your DM lets you pick and choose when to use 3E or PF rules for various things. Good luck with that.

The DM DOES in fact let us pick and choose. We've got a war priest running around with 3.5 Righteous Might. That said, I do appreciate the assistance gentlemen.

Summoner 7 with the poison evolution deals 1d4 on a failed save. Also the DC scales with level and Con (of the Eidolon so Large and Huge/Con increases are advised). You could use the 4th level arcane spell Shadow Projection to play as a shadow with your HP/HD.

Purple Worm Poison + Pernicious Poison (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/p/pernicious-poison). You could also toss in Touch Injection (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/t/touch-injection) to make it easier to land.

1d3 Str damage per round, requires 2 consecutive saves (effectively DC 28), lasts 8 rounds. I may have incapacitated the BBEG of a campaign using this.

A pathfinder Psychic Warrior (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/classes/psychic-warrior) can use Strength of my Enemy (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/psionic-powers/s/strength-of-my-enemy) to deal strength damage each time he hits, as was stated above. This also bolsters your strength, and the limit that can be drained can be augmented up (The default is '8', which is pretty good). Mixing it with a method of getting a bunch of attacks (Two-weapon fighting or natural attacks, or both) can be helpful, and psychic warriors can aid both paths (Dervish or Feral Warrior paths respectively).

The dread (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/classes/dread) can also do this (and has an archetype for the natural weapon route). It's not as good of a combat class, but it then has an array of other debuffs that may be helpful to a concept of this sort.

The Aegis has an archetype called the Aberrant (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/classes/aegis/archetypes/dreamscarred-press/aberrant), which can get you the stinger customization, which can be improved with the poison customization. Altogether, this gets you a secondary natural attack that also can cause strength poison, although this one also has a save to negate attached. This can be accomplished with Aegis(Aberrant) 1, as that gets you all three customization points required for this combination to occur.

Also, there's poisons and ravages, but those were mentioned above.
