Hi everyone,
I have to dm a game in the next few weeks and i wa woundering if anyone has any ideas of what sorta game i could run.

i haven't done much dm and i was wanting to stick to d20.

It depends a lot on what your players want, I think. How many do you have, for one thing?

Seconded.

I generally have a reasonably (re: extremely) detailed "player question-and-answer" portion before I actually even put the details on adventures- an adventure tailored to the particular abilities and tastes of your players is always going to be better than a generic one.

If you're looking for help as a beggining DM, I'd reccomend having a read of a few of the articles on Wizards;the Adventure Builder (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/arch/ab) series has always been an invaluable tool to me, Design and Development tends to the abstract, but is nice to read...and of course, if you run into trouble, there's some decent articles on basic rules as well.

i'll prob. have 4 maybe 5 players.

Have you used the Free Downloadable Adventures (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/oa/20030530b) from the Wizards site before? They are very useful for starting gamers.
