It gives a +1 per level/favor taken to your caster level when using channeling feats against the undead.

But Channel's DC is Cleric level based (and even then only half), and none of the feats I looked up on the PRD Index (Elemental, Selective, Variable, etc.) call for a caster level check. Some have a DC, but it's based on the channel which is then based on 1/2 Cleric + CHA.

What am I missing here? It certainly doesn't let you use, effectively, double your cleric level to determine Channeling dice.

...right?

As written, I can't see that it would actually DO anything. Channel Energy has NOTHING to do with "caster" level to begin with.

I'd assume it's _supposed_ to be "+1 to Cleric level of any channeling feat used to affect undead" (which still sounds poorly worded, but at least would make some sense).

And of "channeling feat used to affect undead" there are really only 2 of them.
Command Undead (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/command-undead---final), and Turn Undead (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/turn-undead--final).

Command Undead would seem to get the better bonus, as it would bump the Save DC and give you a larger control pool.
Turn Undead would just give you a better Save DC.

Has this found its way into a Dysfunctional thread yet? That sounds like a minor dysfunction to me.

I feel like this favored class bonus has been written with Command Undead in mind. Dhampirs are very charming and thus can control EVEN MORE undead as usual.
