I'm working on a campaign where the adventurers break into a mansion (by the sea, most of you probably don't get the following joke) and run into shadows, and the end fight will be against a named greater shadow. I want this to be creepy and, unfortunately, that is not something I'm good at. Are there any good tips for making it freak out the PCs?
