Well, I was thinking about that probably, when the DM will discover that my halfling Fighter's two weapons are two stump knives he will throw away that my character and say to me to make another one. And I was thinking about...

NICOLAS CAGE, Factotum

I read the beautiful guide that I found on this site, and know I am more sure about what to do and what not to do.
But I want some advices anyway about how to build a good Factotum that, at the same time, resembles Our Lord Nicolas Cage, in the build and in the roleplay both

What do you think about?

(Thanks beforehand!!)

You need a familiar.

Anything but bees.

Just keep pumping that those Inspiration Points (Font of Inspiration). Our Sir Nicolas does tend to rely on inspiration over logic.

And does our Mr. Cage rely on brute force to defeat his enemies. Well, sometimes, but he would much rather out-think his enemies. He has a great Knowledge Devotion.

Not only does he know every skill in the book, like a atrocious-haired Macgyver. He also know tricks to his skills. If nothing else, he knows the Skill Trick of Collector of Stories.

Now, while he is the savior of the day, he is naught without a companion. He should be able to use Obtain Familiar of some sort.

The LA is rough, but you pretty much have to be a vampire (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lct6x-XqWrw&feature=kp).

You alignment needs to be neutral because nobody knows if Nicholas Cage is good or bad

(Don't say all of them)

Just remember to give him a terrible charisma.

all of them. Who am I to choose only one Nicolas Cage between hundreds of them? A racist?! Do you think I am a racist?! XD

Just remember to give him a terrible charisma.

Or maybe he is so charismatic that he has been able to make us all believe that he is not charismatic. So, since we cannot know how high or low really is his charisma, Cage's charisma arithmetic mean is obviously an average charisma.

Or he compensates the Cha skills with Inspiration

Nah, he'd fail a check eventually and give away the game. The random pauses in speech, the unintelligible muttering, the hand-waving, the misshapen head. It's always consistent.

The general behavior points more towards high charisma, low wis.

I'd be torn between making him a Prickly Pear (http://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=kp&v=8hck-3mlQjY) Spiker (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20040706a) or a Vampire (http://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=kp&v=Lct6x-XqWrw).

Decisions....

Edit: Or to make him miss jokes that have already been made... >_>

you do remember this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zQ8KpzLPL8) movie right with that silly transformation?
im unsure how you would do that with a Factotum build tho you can do the theme tune alright.

Silent image: burning face
Alchemy + Heal checks: burn face off, set face on fire, fix the damage afterwards

Well, I prefer THIS (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRm6UhCf6aU) silly transformation, but it's only my opinion XD

My God, this is beautiful! Sincerelly, my idea was trying to get together the most Cages possible, but I didn't think that Ghost Rider was actually doable... Solutions like these open a big new range of possibilities... MUAHAUAHAUAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

im not sure you can heal from burring skull with ease RAI
With RAW however go for it its only 1d4 damage per turn
