Spell Resistence... Will it work aganist Psionic Powers? Even if the DM rules that dispel magic the spell doesn't work on psychic powers and vice versa... would spell resistence?

By the RAW creatures with SR over 10 have PR = SR - 10 and vice versa. That goes for monsters but I don't think it works with SR gained from magic items and spells. The rules should be in Expanded Psionics Handbook.

Actually, that's a partial removal of Psionics Magic Transparencey.

The RAW is that Spell Resistance of any sort works against Psionic Powers with its full effect. The rules for that are in the SRD here: http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/psionic.html#combining-psionic-and-magical-effects

Of course, given the DM's ruling on Dispel Magic, it sounds like the DM is playing a no-transparency game. So it's likely the DM will rule that SR doesn't affect psionics and PR doesn't affect spells. Guidelines for a partial- or no-transparency game are in the Expanded Psionics Handbook.

Actually, the PR = SR-10 is from... either Complete Psionic or Expanded Psionics Handbook, but I can't find it right now. The section definitely didn't say anything about Transparency though.

XPH, under the optional "Psionics are Different" header. Magic/Psi Transparency is standard.

The standard is that they work together completely PR and SR are the same thing, dispel magic dispels magic and psionics, and detect magic works the same (and vice versa for psionic versions).

There is also the option to make it so that psionics and magic are completely seperate (which is what it sounds like your DM is doing). It is suggested that creatures with PR have SR = PR-10 for balance reasons (and vice versa).
