Has anyone used gestalt rules to emulate the second edition multiclassing rules? I have only just begun playing second edition, but I enjoy the multiclassing idea (first 2e character was a dwarven cleric/fighter:-)). If anyone has done this, please let me know how it affected game balance. Also, the three different experience charts in the pathfinder core rulebook, has anyone used those as charts for different classes? I.e. the rogue uses the fast chart, the fighter uses the medium chart, the wizard uses the slow chart. If any experience trying this, I would appreciate any input! Thanks!

If you want to be close to the old muti-class rules gestalt, and halve your exp gain.

I was figuring that. So that handles the multiclassing question, what of different experience charts? Anyone?
