So were thinking of a feat that combines fighter and barbarian levels.

Requires: Rage 2/day, 2 fighter bonus feats
Alignment: any chaotic

Benefit: Your fighter and barbarian levels stacks for how often you can
rage and how strong your rage is, so a level 4 Fighter, lvl 7 Barbarian would
be able to rage 3 times per day and have Greater rage. Also after taking this
feat every 4 levels of Barbarian you take gives you a fighter/rage improving bonus feat.
And if advancing in Fighter levels your bonus feats can also be rage improving feats. And
when taking fighter levels after taking this feat your skill point gain is 4 + INT, instead
of the usual 2 + INT.

So choice in what levels you take is:

Barbarian = less bonus feats, more special abilities, more hp.
Fighter = double bonus feats but dont get the special abilities of Barb. less hp.

Any thoughts on the usefulness of this feat is welcome. :)

Oh since Barb has more proīs for continuing with Barb levels then with Fighter levels
the feat would also upgrade the fighters skills per level to 4 + INT like the Barbīs. :)

So, feat good or bad? :)

If this is 3.5 then you could basically do anything you wanted here, it still wouldn't make a non-dungeoncrasher fighter or barb a tier 3 or above.

Better yet, just make it a game rule. Barbarians treat half their non-barbarian hit dice as levels in Barbarian (to a maximum equal to the barbarian's actual level) to determine how often they can rage and the specific benefits of their rage. Fighters treat half their non-fighter hit dice as levels in fighter to determine their effective fighter level when qualifying for fighter specific feats.
So a Barb 4 / Ftr 4 would rage like a 6th level barbarian, and qualify for all feats a 6th level fighter qualified for.
