Okay, so basically, you pick a pen and paper rp system to create yourself in, buuuut, you need to be honest. This isn't a competition. You can pick which ever system you feel like would be best for doing this is.

Now a few things you should note:

You don't have to be an ordinary human. If you have a personality characteristic, or some other feature of you that would fit better in a different race, you can pick a different race. But you need to explain why you picked such race. I'll give a few examples about myself, using Pathfinder:

This is gross, I realize it, but I'm comfortable enough with myself to admit it, and even joke about it, and that is the fact that I sometimes eat my blood scabs. Yup. Gross. But it's not like I have an extreme desire to do so. So I might make myself a Dhampir as a result.

Also, I have an extreme resistence to heat. I wear coats in the middle of summer sometimes, not because I'm cold, but because the heat doesn't bother me and I like the extra pocket space. So I might make myself an Ifrit.

But also, when I was younger, I had a man crush on Resident Evil's Albert Wesker (read my username backwards, I still sort of do), and as a result, I would wear sunglasses all the time, even at night. As a result, I weakened my eyes ability to look at higher levels of light. So I might make myself something like a Drow.

Those are some examples for myself if I were to make myself something other than Human using Pathfinder.

Another note: Don't give specific personal information. So like don't use your real name, don't give your specific location, etc. Use fake information there, like "My name is Bruce Wayne, and I grew up in a crime filled city called Gotham", or something like that, assuming you actually did grow up in a crime filled city.

Once I stop being lazy and create it, I'll edit in myself in here.

Okay, now have fun with this everyone.

In a group of such people he is Insight Disabled and becomes much less likely to speak up. Furthermore, he tends to spend much more of his time alone than typical.

ADHD: Sith_Happens takes up to twice as long as normal to perform Intellect-related tasks, and often struggles to meet deadlines.

Might edit later with a nWoD version.

Creating approximations of myself in various game systems is pretty much what I do when I'm bored.

You see a tall, athletic-looking man with broad, thick shoulders matched by an broad, honest smile. He chestnut-brown hair is short, and even from several paces away you notice his clear blue eyes. He stands with an easy readiness and has the bearing of someone who has the utmost confidence in his abilities.

Shadowrun 4 Character Sheet (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=181293) (probably the most accurate)
Pathfinder Character Sheet (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=516246) (pretty good personality descriptions, not well optimized)

When I get a chance, I'll edit with my Immortal and WOD sheets.

Just gonna point out, this might well lead to an argument on what exactly what number on a stat represents, lets hope not.

Depends on the system, I know that M&M and nWoD both have explicit scales for such things.

Me in WFRP2. I've followed the rules fairly closely, and only altered those options which otherwise would be inappropriate (i.e. the Knowledge and Trade skills). Ideally it would be better if the careers were the other way around, but the exits don't work that way...

Any system?
AD&D with 3d6 for each stat, in order, no re-rolls

STR: 7
INT: 10
WIS: 9
DEX: 9
CON: 8
CHA: 14

Hmmm... apparently I'm charismatic. Let's see, I can be human, so that works.
Not much choice on classes. I'll take Cleric. Who wants edged weapons anyway?

High Concept: Jack-of-All-Trades
Trouble: Should've Kept My Mouth Shut...
First Adventure: "Screw that, I know what I want!"

Polite people have called it "tunnel vision" or wilfulness but there's no doubt that when you've got your mind set on something, you're going to give it everything you have to get it. You're not easily tempted to stray from the path you've laid out, but (for better or for worse) you ignore other opportunities and goals along the way.
Crossing Paths: Who Needs Drama Class?

Drama was (somewhat ironically) not a subject your year was offered, but with a classroom filled with people and drama that other teens thought overly dramatic, those "soap opera"-esque years certainly gave you everything you could've possibly learned in one.
Crossing Paths Again: My Friends Are Everything

Whether army, former classmate or the "no-she's'-not-my-girlfriend-never-will-be-and-never-was-will-you-please-stop-asking-now" best friend, your friends have been there when you needed them and you do what you can to pay them back in kind (with interest).

Skills:
Great (+4): Empathy
Good (+3): Contacts, Shoot
Fair (+2): Athletics, Deceive, Lore
Average (+1): Fight, Provoke, Resources, Will

Stunts: Armor of Fear, Indomitable, Sprinter.
Refresh: 3

System: FATE Core.

Hmmm, okay. Let's try it, 3.x
Small, irritating at times, and far too determined and sneaky for my own everyone else's good when I want to be? Combining that with the ability to get into and out of sticky situations wayyy too often, and I seem to be some sort of Kobold. Plus all the other builds have been human so far, unless I've missed a thing.

So Kobold Expert 1.

GAAHH I hit a button and it ate my entire thing! My stats were all explained! My skills! My feeeeeats! Have some 3.PF, it should work with any of them.

Str 9
Dex 13
Con 12
Int 22. I'll type out my justification for this one again- the formula I've been told is best is 10 + 1 for each 5 points of IQ above 100 (works in the positive and negative directions), and I tend to agree with it. From what I've seen it only breaks down for really low INT values. If you get mad at me for using a number above 18, I'll probably cry :< 18, since apparently real people can't get scores above 19. :c
Wis 6 (at best)
Cha 10

Skills would be Diplomacy, Bluff, Knowledge (Maths), Knowledge (Music), Perform (Sing), Perform (Woodwind), Swim, Trapmaking, and a little bit of Balance/Tumble.

Feats... Lightning Reflexes and Great Fortitude.

See, I just used my IQ to find out how many people I'm more intelligent than, assumed that people are 3d6, and got 18.

Because, you know, it's actually possible for characters to be int 18.

Yes, but if everyone from say, IQ 140+ was INT 18, why would there be any scores ABOVE 18? Wouldn't we need something silly like the old Strength system? INT 18/40 or 18/00 or whatever?

EDIT: Is a genuine question, not snark.

Well, long story short...

There aren't. Real people are E5, with no tomes of blah/wishes/int-boosting items/racial bonuses. What that means is, no-one in the real world is actually above int 19, and even that's only if you think you're 4th level or above. If you're in the top 216th of the population for intelligence, you're most likely int 18.

........yeah, I can barely figure out how to stat myself even in a simple system like Fate, because even Fate is all heroic and such, and statting myself out in it is making a bad Fate character, because I don't even have any combat skills. maybe I should get one of those cheap samurai swords and act as if I'll fight incredibly weak supernatural foes with it someday so that I feel sort of like a hero that doesn't totally suck.

Guess it means the D&D system thinks I'm about as smart as Stephen Hawking and Albert Einstein though, which is nice (if obviously untrue).

Well, it's possible - for a given value of "About."

If you're in the top 216th of the population, then there could still be ~32,407,400 people who are better than you. So, if by "About" you mean "About 32 million people's worth of difference from," then yes, it's quite possible.

As in "Has the same modifier as."
Even if the system I'm using is wrong, and it's actually something really dodgy and unbalanced like IQ/10, that still gives me a 16 (+3) and people like Einstein an 18 or 19 (+4) depending on level since you can't get above 19.

Okay, now I see why people say real life stuff doesn't translate to ability scores well.

Borderline savant people like Hawking and Einstein could also be a race with an INT bonus, since there are a few of those.

I actually remember a day where my friends did this, including carrying each other to decide lifting for STR.

DnD 3.5:

2nd level Expert (come on, most of us are NPC classes)

STR: 15 (Can run slowly with a 150 lb person on my back)
DEX: 12 (Good reaction time, but nothing amazing)
CON: 14 (I'm stringy but I've taken a good beating and been fine)
INT: 17 (Generalizarion based on standardized testing percentiles and IQ test quartiles)
WIS: 9 (I do things that I know will end poorly)
CHA: 12 (So I've been told)

Feats: Endurance, Improved Unarmed Strike

Skills: Speak Language (Common, French)
Balance: 4
Concentration: 5
Diplomacy (CC): 1
Knowledge (Physical Sciences): 5
Knowledge (Biological Sciences): 3
Knowledge: (Technology): 4
Knowledge (History) (CC): 1
Knowledge (Religion): 4
Intimidate (CC): 2
Jump: 2
Listen: 4
Sense Motive (CC): 2
Spot: 4
Swim: 5
Tumble (CC): 2

Actually, that comes out to a 36 point buy, which isn't too bad for someone guessing their own abilities, even if it is high for a game.

Those threads really should include a disclaimer asking people not to give their int score. Seriously. And I believe more people would participate if that was the case. I pesonally only clicked to see the inevitable int score debate (a bit short for my taste this time).

(By the way: if your IQ is above 130, then IQ tests are not really for you because they are maid to have precision and dicriminate around the 100 mark, not for those too far from it, so for score not in the 70-130 range it really lacks precision. And most IQ tests do a poor job at circumventing culture, but that is another debate.)

Personally, I guess I would be an expert, with low physical abilities (even dex T_T), relatively high int, unknown cha and wis, and ranks in knowledges and maybe craft (engeenering) and craft (programmation) (but research or problem solving are not even skills...).
My role in the usual d&d party would be the dead weight.
Althought if I could choose I would definitely be a wizard. I mean, if magic existed, I would be learning it right know. Who wouldn't?

System: D&D 3.5, There are other systems that would allow for a better match, but this is the only one I'm familiar with at present, as I'm just now getting into PnP

Warforged Artificer
Str-13 stupidly strong leg muscles and decent upper body strength, holdovers from my days playing american football.
Dex-7 fine hand manipulation is actually pretty good, but if you manage to somehow talk me into dancing I'll just trip over you
Con-12 good pain resistance and what seems to be a nigh undefeatable immune system. I'm tempted to rate this higher, but must admit to not having had truly significant injury to test it with in recent years.
Int-16 My mind has always been my greatest asset. I have a tendency to leap to less than obvious solutions quite quickly, have been known to correct my professors, and often find myself in leadership/advisory roles due to gaining a reputation for nearly always having well thought out plans.
Wis-10 In spite of the last, it isn't very well coordinated with the world. I do quite well in many cases, but in others find myself fumbling around out of my element.
Cha-8 If they counted as separate scores, this would probably be a 12 for written word applications of charisma, and 6-7 for everything else. I write well, but vocal communication is quite lacking. The fact that I tend to display jack all in terms of emotion also hurts this, leading to the nickname "Spock", though I've long thought that Data would have been a better comparison.
