Can a Summoner Enlarge Person his Eidolon?

If he can, when he does it as a synthesist does it grow both himself and said Eidolon since they count as the same being? And if the answer is yes, could I get a source in bold, please?

Share Spells (Ex)

The summoner may cast a spell with a target of “you” on his eidolon (as a spell with a range of touch) instead of on himself. A summoner may cast spells on his eidolon even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of the eidolon’s type (outsider). Spells cast in this way must come from the summoner spell list.

This ability does not allow the eidolon to share abilities that are not spells, even if they function like spells.

The answers you seek lie within.

Yes, you can enlarge it because you can affect it even if it is not correctly 'typed'. No you cannot apply it to both because you can cast it on the eidon 'instead'. Synthesist is so poorly written the answer to that conundrum is open to interpretation. Citation given.

Here's a link to a ton of Synthesist FAQ (http://paizo.com/paizo/faq/v5748nruor1fz#v5748eaic9obd) entries.

No you cannot apply it to both because you can cast it on the eidon 'instead'.

It technically does apply to both (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/summoner/archetypes/paizo---summoner-archetypes/synthesist):
"Neither the synthesist nor his eidolon can be targeted separately, as they are fused into one creature."
So there is only one thing to target.

This FAQ (http://paizo.com/paizo/faq/v5748nruor1fz#v5748eaic9oba) answers the rest of the question:
"These effects persist on the summoner after the eidolon is gone."
So if you Enlarge Person while wearing the Eidolon-suit, then the Eidolon-suit gets bigger.
If the Eidolon is dismissed/banished/whatever the Enlarge Person effect would then continue to apply to the Summoner.
The only exception is more 'permanent' things like Ability Damage (which is covered in the next FAQ up).

I'm really not sure if/when it would matter if "both" got bigger or if "just" the Eidolon got bigger. The end result would be pretty much the same.

The specific FAQ I linked does mention: "FAQ pending about size-changing magic and a synthesist (because of the limitation of "the eidolon must be at least the same size as the synthesist" rule)."
But given that that Answer was written back in 2011, I don't think there really is a "FAQ Pending". And I think it dealt more with the potential use of Reduce Person instead.
