Jedipotter gave me an idea for a pretty cool character concept. Make a paladin, then stat up various different large animals, adjust them to be paladin mounts, and make an rng table. When you summon your mount, roll to see what appears. The poor paladin always tries for his warhorse but instead gets a wide array of rather silly mounts with which to ride into battle.
